The following is a review of a Dio show of the third North American leg of the Angry Machines tour, originally e-mailed to me.

I left for Appleton,WI early to check out the local record stores. One store told me Vinny would be at the Drum Shop from 3-5 that afternoon. So I made it there and spent about 45 minutes talking drums and past bands. Thank you Vinny, I enjoyed the conversation.

We made it to the club at 7:00,the club was sports bar.The room where the show was,is a large indoor volleyball court with a sand floor.I felt sorry for those who had too much to drink,or other substances.People were having a hard enough time walking around,It was a site to see.But the sound was great in this room.

The set list was the same as the other shows,so I won't list the songs. Highlights were the Rainbow songs for me,since I caught Rainbow on all the tours when Dio was in the band.Ronnie is singing better than ever.I enjoyed the new material as well. The drum solo was too long, just kidding Vinny. One of the best drummers out there I feel.

After the show Ronnie was there to sign things for everyone who wanted. I brought my Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow poster from 76 that Ritchie had signed.Ronnie was great to talk to,we talked about the first Rainbow tour in Chicago 75.

Thank you to Ronnie and Vinny,I had a great time.I hope to catch the next tour.
