Dio's Magica tour started in March 2000. The tour continued until May 2001 and took the band to the North and South Americas, Europe and Asia. The band was also booked for South African tour with Motorhead and Jerusalem in November 2001, but the tour plans fell through at the last minute because of the local promotor.
