There are rumors that Elf would've released a live album for Japanese market only on VIP label, possibly in 1976 when Elf had disappeared already.
Those rumors are just rumors. There has never been Elf live album, not as a Japanese release or as any other release. This has been confirmed from both Ronnie James Dio and Elf's pianist Mickey Lee Soule. According to Ronnie -- "If there would've been a live album by Elf, even a bootleg, someone certainly would've asked me to sign it by now. I've never seen one, so it must be just a rumor."
